Commit to Fitness and strengthen your mission with the Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation fitness program at the Monterey Bay Athletic Club.

The Monterey Bay Athletic Club and NOFFS Zone are two fitness facilities on the installation that provide functional training equipment in alignment with the CNIC NOFFS training program. The Monterey Bay Athletic Club operates 24 hours a day, with the NOFFS Zone and Bathhouse open during scheduled staffed hours Monday through Sunday.

In addition to open gym access, we offer a variety of FREE group fitness classes, fitness-related information sessions and specialized training programs, including CFL certifications

All MWR programs and events are designed for Active Duty, Reservists, Retirees, Family Members, and Employees (unless otherwise noted).

General Guidelines:

  • This facility is open to all eligible patrons, with ID checks required for entry.
  • Proper fitness attire is a must—feel free to reach out to our fitness staff for any questions.
  • Towel service is available upon request.
  • 100% ID Check is always in progress
  • 24 HOUR access to main gym is available. See fitness staff for more information.
  • Children 0-14 must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian.
  • Children 15-17 are authorized to use the fitness center unsupervised after completion of child/youth orientation.
