Ashtanga Yoga is designed to empower students through their own personal practice to achieve a deeply therapeutic and stimulating experience. Students are guided through asanas (poses), linking movement and breath (vinyasa) for a meditative, continuous and challenging flow. Class sessions will focus on a modified half primary series geared to all skill levels, starting and finishing with breath work, intention setting and gratitude. Classes are suitable for all levels and can be modified for individuals as much as needed. Be prepared to cleanse your mind as well as your body!
Please bring: comfortable, non-restrictive clothing, personal towels, blocks straps, mat (loaned towels, blocks, straps and mats available from MBAC) and positive energy!
